Economic Status: Matsumuratettix hiroglyphicus is one of the main vectors of the sugarcane white leaf disease phytoplasma (Hanboonsong et al. 2006; Thein et al. 2012). Pest control strategies for M. hiroglyphicus are discussed in Hanboonsong and Kobori (2017).
