Common Name: none 

Subfamily/Tribe: Deltocephalinae: Deltocephalini 

Distribution: ACT, NSW, NT, Tas, Vic, WA, PNG, NZ, Fiji and Guam. 

Economic Status: Very common on several grass species and also known on sedges and low shrubs 

Notes: M. knightinormally has extensive brown markings particularly on the tegmen which has each cell outlined with dark brown. This colouration, however, is variable and reliable determinations require examination of the male genitalia.
