Dacus aequalis Coquillett

Common Name: None

Diagnosis: Abdominal tergites fused. Abdomen shape = petiolate. Anterior supra-alar bristles absent. Prescutellar bristles absent. Anterior notopleural bristle absent. Number of scutellar bristles = 2.  Medial post sutural vittae absent. Wing markings costal band & anal streak only. Costal streak very broad - touching M for its length. Costal cells cloudy. Hind femur uniformly reddish/brown. Postpronotal calli red brown or dark brown to fuscous.  
 
Attractant: cue lure  

Larval Hosts: supposedly citrus  

Economic status: doubtful
