Bactrocera mayi (Hardy)

Common Name: None

Diagnosis: Anterior supra-alar bristles present. Prescutellar bristles absent. Anterior notopleural bristle absent. Posterior surstylus lobe short. Medial post sutural vittae absent. Lateral post sutural vittae present. Wing markings costal band & anal streak only. Costal streak limited to costa - touching R4+5 at margin only. Scutellum entirely yellow/pale.

Attractant: Methyl Eugenol

Larval Hosts: Apricots

Economic status: One out of five economic significance
