Siphanta granulicollis (Stål)

This species can only be differentiated from Siphanta parva, Siphanta tasmanica and Siphanta thambeos by examination of the male genitalia although there are distributional differences in some cases .

This is the most widespread of a distinctive group of Siphanta species which are considerably smaller than other species, with short rounded tegmina and short head. There are minor variations in the male genitalia between individuals in SE Australia.
