This species can only be differentiated from Siphanta granulicollis, Siphanta tasmanica and Siphanta thambeos by examination of the male genitalia although there are distributional differences in some cases.
S. parva has been collected from Banksia marginata, Eucalyptus cosmophylla, Hakea and Acacia.
