Australian species: Three species are recognised in Australia, including the type species, originally described from Larat Island in eastern Indonesia.
Distribution: Indonesia (Larat Island),
Papua New Guinea, Australia (Northern Territory,
Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia).
Notes: Miclucha laratensis and M.
incerta are shared between Australia and New Guinea. M. australiensis is only recorded from Australia
and M. niuginiensis Van Stalle is only recorded in New Guinea. The genus can be distinguished
by the features used in the key. The narrow vertex differentiates species
from most other Australian Pentastirini.
