Tribe Cedusini

Eocenchrea costalisi (Jacobi)

Tribe Cedusini Emeljanov 1992: 20

This tribe was introduced by Emeljanov (1992) in Russian with a brief English summary. In 1994, Emeljanov published a more comprehensive examination of the tribes of Derbidae and, in the English translation which was published in 1996 (see Emeljanov 1994 for details) the definitions of the tribes became more freely available. The Cedusini contains small moth-like planthoppers, mostly fairly dull in colour. The known Australian fauna comprises seven species, plus a colour morph, in two genera although the genus Eocenchrea is known to contain numerous undescribed species in the tropical north of Australia.
