Tribe Otiocerini

Kuranda notata Distant

Tribe Otiocerini Muir 1913a: 30

This tribe includes some of the most delicate and beautiful of all Australian Derbidae. They are often white with various markings and the head is usually produced in front of the eyes and flattened bilaterally so it can be almost transparent when viewed from the side. There are probably many undescribed species in the tropical north of the country and the group is in need of revisionary taxonomic study.
