Tribe Sikaianini

Tribe Sikaianini Muir 1913a: 31

This tribe is represented in Australia by two species of Sikaiana described from the Wet Tropics of North Queensland by Distant (1907). They can be distinguished from species of Tribe Zoraidini by the extension of the eyes ventrally in front of the antennae to reach the epistomal suture. The species are not well represented in collections and may not be genuine Sikaiana.
