Distribution: Australia (NT, N. Qld, WA, Vic)
Species: Two species are known. F. acuminatus is larger with more extensive dark markings on the tegmen. It has been collected from just east of Kalgoorlie, WA [update: 2.xi.2010], and several localities in the NT and N. Qld, including S of Normanton, the type locality for F. westcotti Fletcher, which has also been collected at Kununurra [update: 23.vi.2003], Barrow Island [update: 28.v.2008] in WA and in NE Victoria [update: 2.xi.2010]
Note: Both species have been collected from Spinifex grass
