Desudaboides fuscomaculata Musgrave

Genus Desudaboides Musgrave 1927: 47
Type species: Desudaboides fuscomaculata Musgrave, by original designation

Known species: Five species are known from NT to NE NSW.

Notes: These large (for Australia) brightly coloured species are immediately recognised by the very broad short head which is equal in width to the pronotum. The genus is almost certainly represented in PNG as well although no species have been recorded there as yet. Constant (2010) added four of the five species.
