B. cinerascens (loc. cit.: 22) and B. minima (loc. cit.: 22) have been found in the drier areas of WA and SA, B. excurva (loc. cit.: 23) is based on a single specimen from Collinsville, 150km WNW of Mackay, Qld and B. cocoa (loc. cit.: 24) is known from inland WA, SA and NT.
Note: All known species are dark brown in colour. The tegmen is parallel-sided with rounded apex. Superficially, the species are similar to species of Massila Walker but tegmen vein Cu is clearly branched in Massila but not in Barsac.
