Genus Apsadaropteryx Kirkaldy

Apsadaropteryx elongatulus Kirkaldy)

Genus Apsadaropteryx Kirkaldy 1907: 103.
Type species: Issus elongatulus Kirkaldy 1907, by monotypy.

Known species: Only the type species, from Qld, is known.

Notes: As with Sarima novaehollandiae revision of the oriental issid fauna may redefine the generic placement of this species. It can easily be differentiated from other Australian Issidae by the distinctly sinuate first radial vein, as indicated in the key.
