Subfamily Deltocephalinae: Tribe Occinirvanini
Occinirvana eborea Evans
The only Australian species of Occinirvanini is Occinirvana eborea (Evans) from Casuarina sp. in Perth, WA. It can be distinguished from other Australian leafhoppers by the position of the ocelli and the antennal bases, both of which are closer to the apex of the head than they are to the eyes. Evans (1947) placed this group in the Nirvaninae but they were transferred to the Deltocephalinae by Dietrich (2004).
