Genus Ipoides Evans
Genus Ipoides Evans 1934: 155. Type species: Ipoides hackeri Evans, by original designation
Known species: Eight species are known distributed over most of Australia (except Tas.) and into PNG.
Comments: Species of Ipoides are all plain, nondescript ipoines with a single strong hind tibial spur and numerous strong tibial spines. Ipoides hackeri and I. honiala are widespread and common species on a variety of plants. I. melaleucae is relatively common on Melaleuca spp in northern parts of Australia and PNG.
