Subfamily Ledrinae: Tribe Rubrini
Rubria sanguinosa (Stål)
The Rubrini was created by Jones & Deitz (2009) to include the single genus Rubria which, other than R. rugosa from PNG, is restricted to Australia. Jones & Deitz (2009: 58) raised doubts about the placement of R. rugosa in this tribe.
The genus can be distinguished from other Australian Ledrinae by the tegminal venation which is reticulate to a greater or lesser extent on Ledrini but not reticulate in species of Rubria.
