Genus Ipolo Evans

Press for checklist of Australian Ipoini Ipolo davisi (Evans)

Genus Ipolo Evans 1966: 39. Type species: Ipoella davisi Evans, by original designation

Known species: Only the type species, from WA, is known.

Comments: Evans (1966) separated this genus from Ipoella, in which I. davisi had previously been placed, on the basis that the male genitalia structures were quite different from species of Ipoella. This is correct but I. davisi might easily be accepted as a species of Ipoides Evans on the basis of the male genitalia structures.
