Genus Pauripo Evans 1934: 161. Type species: Pauripo insularis Evans, by original designation

Known species: Only the type species, from Qld, NSW, Vic and SA, is known. Evans (1934) described two species but they were synonymised by Evans (1966).

Comments: This species, with its brown mottled appearance, was originally described in the Ipoini but was transferred to the Eurymelini by Evans (1966) because of the presence of broad ventral styles on the subgenital plates, a defining feature of this tribe.
