Known species: Only the type species is named but Day (1999) recognised three undescribed species.
Distribution: eastern Australia
Comments: The species of this genus are immediately recognisable by the two vertical processes on the median longitudinal process of the pronotum. Day (1999) recorded Maireana microphylla (Chenopodiaceae) as a possible host and noted that the known species were mostly found in the lower rainfall, inland parts of eastern Australia.
