Eutryonia Goding 1903: 34. Type species: Centrotus monstrifer Walker 1858, by original designation

Known species: Only the type species is known.

Distribution: Widespread in eastern Australia from Ravenshoe in north Qld to NSW and ACT.

Comments: This species is immediately recognisable as the only Australian membracid with a single, apically inflated, median process on the pronotum, lacking lateral processes.
