Genus Goddefroyinella Distant
Goddefroyinella Distant 1916a: 22; Day 1999: 679. Type species: Oxyrhachis neglectus Buckton 1903, by monotypy
Known species: The type species is the only named species but Day (1999) lists three undescribed species from western NSW, SA and Qld.
Distribution: Mainly arid regions of SA, WA, NSW, Qld, NT.
Comments: The forwardly projecting lateral pronotal processes and reticulate venation make species of this genus quite easy to recognise. Day (1999) indicates that the species are quite rare in collections but this may be due to their distribution through the poorly collected arid regions of Australia.
