Genus Yangupia Day
Yangupia Day 1999: 727. Type species: Emphusus occidentalis Goding 1903, by original designation
Known species: Only the type species is known.
Distribution: WA.
Comments: This species has well developed
lateral pronotal processes that extend laterally rather than upwards but
curve slightly posteriorly. Veins M and Cu are closely approximated basally
but do not unite. Crossvein m-cu1 is very close to the point where these
two veins come together but, nonetheless, is distinctly visible. Day (1999)
lists Acacia (Fabaceae) as a food plant.
