Genus Doowella McKamey

Genus Doowella McKamey 2006: 508. Type species: Woodella wanungarae Evans, by original designation. Nom. nov. for Woodella Evans 1966: 87.

Known species: Only the type species, from Qld, is known

Comments: This odd little beast is flightless with curiously angulate tegmina which are brown and punctate with some vague transverse striping. The type specimen was collected in moss on Mt Wanungara in the McPherson Ranges and specimens have been collected from other mountainous regions of Qld.
