Bunyella dromedarius (Kirkaldy)

Bunyella  Day 1999: 656. Type species: Acanthuchus dromedarius Kirkaldy 1906, by original designation

Known species: Only the type species is known (actually, only the holotype of the type species is known)

Distribution: N. Qld

Comments: B. dromedarius is a small squat species with short acute lateral pronotal processes and strongly sinuate median pronotal process (MPP) reaching barely to level with CuA. Day (1999) describes the MPP as saddle-shaped. The species is similar in general appearance to species of Alocanthella which also has a short saddle-shaped MPP but has a much more bulbous pronotum lacking the anterior sinuation of Bunyella.
