Genus Sertorius Stål

Sertorius Stål 1866a: 88; Day 1999: 714. Type species: Centrotus australis Fairmaire 1846, designated by Stål 1866b: 387

Known species: Six species are known

Distribution: NSW, ACT, Qld, Vic, SA, NT, WA

Comments: The humped appearance of Sertorius species is reminiscent of species of Terentius but the latter lack lateral pronotal processes entirely. Day (1999) noted that the known host records were from the family Proteaceae.
