Genus Microlopa Evans
Genus
Microlopa Evans 1966: 87
Type species:
Microlopa
minuta Evans, by original designation
Known species:Only the type species is known.
Comments: This species has fully developed tegmina but lacks hindwings. It therefore differs from Taslopa montana which has a fully winged and a brachypterous form. The tegmen of the only known species is apically acute (not particularly apparent on the image provided here) but not angulate as in Doowella. It is also quite different in the orientation of the antennal ledges and other features of the face. Specimens are also known from the Bogong Plains of Victoria and the Kosciuszko region of NSW.
